A Resolution

April 2023

Here’s what I’m learning about myself: I hate posting WIPs. This is the fourth time I’ve done it, and I always think it’s going to go better than the previous time, but yeah… unless something changes, this is the last time I do it. In other words, poke me if I try it again! Or if you’re someone who successfully posts WIPs, please share the secrets of your success with me 😉 Real life has continued to be a handful and I’m barely scraping together time to post, let alone time to make progress on the writing front. I got a chunk written on The Riches of a Life Well-Lived in March, but I’m just now starting to edit it. In theory, I will have more time once my kids are done with school and we’re not spending eight hours a week commuting. My schedule will definitely look different, and I’m hoping that translates to more writing time, but I won’t know for a couple more weeks.

I now have all copies of Mutante, my mermaid story, back from betas, but I’m not sure about when to post it. Since I’m struggling to keep up with posting my WIP, I’m figuring I should probably wait to start posting something new until I’m done writing The Riches of a Life Well-Lived 🙁 Hopefully that will be soon though!
